Scholarship Funds

LCS currently maintains two scholarship funds: the Mariya Garland Memorial Scholarship Fund and the Ezra Black Memorial Scholarship Fund. Donations to each of these funds help maintain college scholarships awarded to two deserving graduates of Liberty Common School. Your contributions to these funds help to launch our graduates into the next stage of their educational journey.
Mariya Garland

Mariya Garland Memorial Scholarship Fund

Marya Garland (LCHS ’15) passed away tragically in 2017 after a valiant and courageous battle with cancer. While a student, Mariya was a shining example of the virtues upheld by Liberty Common School and won the school’s top senior award, the Character and Virtue Award.

Following Mariya’s death in 2017, the award was renamed the Mariya Garland Character and Virtue Award.

Your donation toward the Mariya Garland Memorial Scholarship Fund will ensure the scholarship prize will continue to be generously awarded to future generations of LCHS graduates.
